Garmin GPS Cables
GFDB Cables for Garmin eTrex, etc.
6-foot cables for Garmin GPS Receivers with the Flat connector, such as the eTrex, eMap, and geko.
The new USB based "C" version eTrex receivers cannot be used.
Note that newer eTrex receiver seem to require a voltage on the serial input to work, and this cable may need to be modified to provide this.
GPS Cable GFDB - $15.
Garmin flat connector to DB-9 female, to connect a Garmin eTrex, etc to a TinyTrak3 or a computer. The GPS is not powered by this cable.
GPS Cable GFDB 3V Combo - $25.
Garmin flat connector to DB-9 female, to connect a Garmin eTrex, etc to a TinyTrak3, PLUS a cigarette lighter plug to power the GPS with 3V. This cable does NOT power the TinyTrak3.
GRDB Cables for Garmin eTrex
6-foot cables cables for Garmin GPS Receivers with the Round connector, such as the 12, 12XL, 38, 45, GPS II, GPS III, GPS III+, and Streetpilot.
GPS Cable GRDB - $15.
Garmin round connector to DB-9 female, to connect a Garmin StreetPilot, etc to a TinyTrak3 or a computer. The GPS is not powered by this cable.
GPS Cable GRDB 8V Combo - $25.
Garmin round connector to DB-9 female, to connect a Garmin GPS-40, etc to a TinyTrak3, PLUS a cigarette lighter plug to power the GPS with 8V. For GPSs needing a 5 pin round connector. This cable does NOT power the TinyTrak3.
GPS Cable GRDB 12V Combo - $25.
Garmin round connector to DB-9 female, to connect a Garmin StreetPilot, etc to a TinyTrak3, PLUS a cigarette lighter plug to power the GPS with 12V. For GPSs needing a 4 pin round connector. Make sure the GPS can handle 12V. If the GPS has a center post in the middle of the round connector, use the 8V version above. This cable does NOT power the TinyTrak3.
These cables will NOT work with the Garmin Rhino GPS receivers.
